  • NW-L1 Intro to K9NW

    6 Weeks-$170.00

    Class 1 Hour

    Prerequisite: The desire to discover and appreciate your dog’s natural Scenting ability, offering both mental stimulation and physical activity for your companion.


    Fundamentals of searching, right for all scent work competition venues. This class is intended to nurture and harness your dog’s natural ability to hunt. With emphasis on building desire and drive to work independently and confidently. Handlers will gain experience in leash handling and observations skills.

    NW-L2 Intro Cont’d

    6 Weeks- $170.00


    Class 1 Hour

    Prerequisite: Completed Intro to Nose Work.

    This class is designed to continue to build confidence, drive , motivation and independence. We will introduce new challenges focusing on the skills needed to increase your dog’s problem solving abilities. Additional emphasis is placed on building the handler’s observations skills and leash work.

  • NW-L3 Intro to Odor

    6 Weeks-$170.00

    Class 1 Hour

    Prerequisite: NW-L1 & L2 or equivalent training and experience with Instructor approval. Dog must hunt confidently and independently in novel environments.

    Building on the successful completion of NW-L1 and NW-L2 we will transfer their enthusiasm and drive for “hunting” to target odor while continuing to build independence confidence and problem-solving skills. This class will provide a solid foundation for both the handler and dog.

    NW-L4 Odor Foundations I

    4 Weeks-$140.00

    Class 1 Hour

    Prerequisites: Completed NW-L3 or equivalent. Dogs must exhibit minimum proficiency in odor recognition and drive. Instructor approval.

    Continuing development of your dogs ability to solve more complex problems, while maintaining drive, and independence and confidence.

  • NW-L5 Odor Found II

    4 Weeks-$140.00

    Class 1 Hour

    Prerequisite: Dog must be on all three odors Birch, Anise, and Clove and demonstrate reasonable proficiency in their ability to hunt and locate target odors. Dogs must exhibit confidence, independence and commitment to odor. Prerequisite: Completion of NW-L3 & NW-L4 or equivalent.
    Skill building to facilitate the dog and handler‘s ability to work as a team while continuing to build odor obedience and drive in the dog. Elevations, ground hides, converging odor, pooling odor, inaccessible hides and thresholds will be covered.

    NW-L6 The Journey Continues
    4 Weeks-$140.00

    Class 1 Hour

    Prerequisites- On all three     odors, searching independently in novel environments. Completion of Odor Foundations I and II or Instructor approval. Building the team! Review and development. Emphasis on skill building and handling.



  • NW-L6 II Training with purpose

    4 Weeks-$140.00 CLASS 1 HOUR

    Prerequisite: NW-L6 , on all 3 Odors for 6 months Or Instructor approval. This class is intended to aid you in recognizing your strengths and weaknesses and guide you in developing training plans to improve and maintain the many skills needed to compete. Converging Odor, elevations, close proximity hides, pooling odor,blowing odor and inaccessible hides are all needed skills for both team and handler. We will continue to develop these skills working in novel areas, under time constraints, in all weather conditions.

    Handler’s Choice

    4 weeks- $120.00
    Class 30 Minutes
    Class designed by you to fit specific training needs or goals. All levels, all Scent work Venue appropriate. AKC, CPE PSD, NACSW Novice to Advanced. Semi-private sessions maximum 2 dogs and 2 Handlers. Share the cost with friend.
