Graduate of the Companion Animal Sciences Institute’s (CASI) in depth 2 Year program earning my diploma in canine behavior. Practical experience, studying and learning from some of the most respected trainers and behaviorist in the dog world. I believe that the best teacher is “the dog in front of you” if you watch, listen and are willing to learn.

I moved to NC in 2020 as my Basset could no longer tolerant the relentless never-ending Florida heat. I left behind friends, clients, and projects dear to my heart, particularly volunteering my time to train seniors citizen’s dogs in behaviors that would help to ensure their safety in the home and help prevent the possibility of  having to relinquish their beloved pets .

I have three passions, helping fearful and behavior challenged dogs to live happier fuller lives, helping seniors live safely with their dogs as they age, and enriching dog’s lives through K9 Nose Work®.

In 2013 a 6-month-old Basset I named Bosley joined my family. He is the dog, who changed my life completely. A fearful, minimally socialized, environmentally challenged anxious puppy with medical issues who could not function in the world.

I was introduced to K9Nosework® in the hope it would help build his confidence while providing enrichment. Before long I was hooked on K9Nosework® and thrilled to see noticeable changes in Bosley’s confidence as a result of his training using the NACSW’s methods. Competition was not in the plan considering his sensitivities to the environment, noise phobias and high anxiety.

I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to and continue to train with and learn from some of the best NACSW Certified Trainers in the sport.

Bosley and I have been training since 2014 and began trialing doing our NACSW odor recognition test in 2015.

We have faced many challenges on our journey together Bosley and I but , I am happy to say he is one leg away from his NACSW Elite title and has successfully competed and titled in AKC, and UKC.

Dazzle my Aussie is showing amazing potential having titled in CPE and NACSW earning her NW1, NW2, NW3x 2 and L1 Titles in all Elements.

I am looking forward to training with my next amazing Nose Work dog “Quicksilver Happily Ever After” AKA Ever.

As a Certified Nose Work Instructor (CNWI) through the National Association of Canine Scent Work, (NACSW) I am honored and thrilled to have this opportunity to share their training methods with you.

I am truly passionate about K9Nosework® and what it brings to all dogs . Pure Joy!
